TERMS & CONDITIONS

The term ‘Furry Fitness’ used throughout these Terms & Conditions relates to its employees, contractors and/or agents.
Medical Conditions
It is the responsibility of the pet owner to disclose to Furry Fitness any medical conditions of the pet which might affect their participation in their session. You also agree to inform Furry Fitness if the medical condition of your pet changes following completion of the Pre-screen Form.
In the unlikely event of your pet experiencing a medical episode during the session, Furry Fitness will endeavour to contact you first to discuss how you would like to proceed. If you cannot be reached via the contact details provided, Furry Fitness will then contact your nominated veterinary clinic for advice and action accordingly. Furry Fitness will not be liable for any costs incurred in actioning veterinary advice.
Liability
Although Furry Fitness maintains current Public Liability Insurance for proving pet walking services, you agree to release and indemnify Furry Fitness from all liabilities or damages arising from any injury to your pet or your property that may occur during the course of your pet’s session.
In the interest of keeping our walkers safe, Furry Fitness reserves the right to not proceed with the session if your pet is exhibiting aggressive behavior towards the allocated walker at the time of collection of your pet. In the event of this occurring, Furry Fitness will contact you as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling and/or other options. It is the responsibility of the pet owner to keep all tick and flee treatments up to date. Although all care is taken to keep pets away from environments where there is a high risk of tick and/or flee attack, Furry Fitness will not be liable for any costs incurred should your pet contract a tick and/or flees.
Privacy
Furry Fitness will not pass on your or your pet’s information to other businesses. Please notify us if you do not wish to receive further correspondence from Furry Fitness regarding marketing promotions.
Image Release
During your pet’s session, Furry Fitness may take photographs and/or videos of your pet/s enjoying their outing. Unless you opt out in the Pre-screen Form or notify us in writing, Furry Fitness reserve the right to take photographs and/or videos of your pet/s to use within Furry Fitness printed and electronic promotional material including, but not limited to, the Furry Fitness website, social media platforms/posts and printed media. Furry Fitness reserve the right to utilise your pet/s first name and suburb in descriptive text or commentary within promotional material. You also hereby release to Furry Fitness all rights to utilise this imagery/video in print and electronic form publicly or privately and you hereby waive your right to receiving any royalty or compensation related to the usage of the above mentioned imagery and/or videos.
Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your pet’s session, Furry Fitness requires a minimum of two (2) hours prior notice. Notification after this timeframe will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the session charge where no reasonable/medical reason is given.
In the event of inclement weather, such as thunderstorms or extreme heat, on the day of your pet’s booked session, Furry Fitness will contact you no later than two (2) hours prior to either cancel or reschedule the session where possible.
In the event that your allocated walker is sick or injured on the day of your pet’s session, Furry Fitness will contact you no later than two (2) hours prior to confirm the availability of a replacement walker or to reschedule/cancel the session.
Weekends & Public Holidays
Furry Fitness generally does not offer sessions on weekends or Australian Public Holidays. However, if we are able to accommodate a special request, this will incur a 10% surcharge on top of the applicable casual rate.
Invoicing/Payment Terms
Invoices are issued digitally via email or text at the completion of each casual session and are payable within 7 days. Invoices for 10 pack sessions will be issued upfront and are to be paid in full before the commencement of any sessions.
10 Session Packs
A 10% discount is applied to 10 pack sessions that are purchased upfront and paid in full. Discount applies to total cost of sessions including extra pet fee if relevant. Owners have 3 months from date of purchase to use the 10 sessions. 10 Packs are valid Monday through Friday only and cannot be used on weekends or public holidays.
